Green Bay sports bar to close after Packers season
A longtime Green Bay sports bar has announced it will close its doors at the end of the Green Bay Packers season. According to a post on social media, Burkel’s Sports Bar & Grill has been sold and will close once the Packers’ season concludes.
Green Bay currently holds the No. 7 seed and needs just one win in its final two contests to lock that spot down. The Packers (9-5-1) host Baltimore (7-8) Saturday at 7 p.m., CST and travel to Minnesota (7-8) in Week 18. A third meeting between the teams would take place in Chicago.
